ENGLISH Our family welcomes you to our square farmhouse (over 200 years old) with catering activities, vineyard, food forest and vegetable garden. The surrounding acreage is cultivated for nature conservation and self-sufficiency. As a wwoofer you can, depending on the season, help with the wine making (pruning, harvesting etc), in the vegetable garden, greenhouse, orchard and with the animals. We are located in a beautiful area which you can explore on foot or by bike in your free time. Not too far away are the historic cities of Sint-Truiden and Tongeren, as well as Leuven, Liège and Maastricht. FRANCAIS Notre famille vous accueille dans notre ferme en carrée (plus de 200 ans) avec activités de restauration, vignoble, forêt alimentaire et potager. La zone environnante est cultivée pour la conservation de la nature et l'autosuffisance. En tant que wwoofer, vous pouvez, selon la saison, aider à la vinification (taille, récolte, etc.), au potager, à la serre, au verger et aux animaux. Nous sommes situés dans une belle région que vous pourrez découvrir à pied ou à vélo pendant votre temps libre. Les villes historiques de Saint-Trond et de Tongres, ainsi que Louvain, Liège et Maastricht ne sont pas très éloignées. NEDERLANDS Onze familie heet u van harte welkom in onze vierkantshoeve (meer dan 200 jaar oud) met horeca-activiteiten, wijngaard, voedselbos en moestuin. Het omliggende arealen worden gecultiveerd voor natuurintandhouding en zelfvoorzienendheid. Als wwoofer kun je hier, afhankelijk van het seizoen, meehelpen met de wijnbereiding (snoeien, oogsten etc), in de moestuin, serre, boomgaard en met de dieren. We liggen in een prachtige omgeving die je in je vrije tijd te voet of met de fiets kunt ontdekken. Niet al te ver weg liggen de historische steden Sint-Truiden en Tongeren en ook Leuven, Liège en Maastricht. DUITS Unsere Familie begrüßt Sie in unserem quadratischen Bauernhaus (mehr als 200 Jahre alt) mit Gastronomie, Weinberg, Lebensmittelwald und Gemüsegarten. Das umliegende Gebiet wird für den Naturschutz und die Selbstversorgung kultiviert. Als Wwoofer können Sie, je nach Saison, bei der Weinherstellung (Rebschnitt, Ernte etc.), im Gemüsegarten, Gewächshaus, Obstgarten und bei den Tieren helfen. Wir befinden uns in einer wunderschönen Gegend, die Sie in Ihrer Freizeit zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad erkunden können. Nicht allzu weit entfernt liegen die historischen Städte Sint-Truiden und Tongeren sowie Leuven, Liège und Maastricht.

I had a wonderful time here. The family is very kind and the food was amazing! I got to experience the culture of the area, meet a lot of the town, and by the end feel a part of the family. I would definitely recommend you visit!

Le domaine est magnifique, la chambre très confortable et l'accueil très bien, me permettant de pratiquer un peu de néerlandais. Mais je suis sans doute tombé la mauvaise semaine, à quelques jours des portes ouvertes de la Ferme. Je me réjouissais de travailler dans les vignes en pleine période de vendanges. Au lieu de cela, pendant une semaine, j'ai enlevé les mauvaises herbes, retiré des tas de terre, nettoyé le trottoir, ramassé quelques fruits, mais pas touché un seul raisin. Bien dommage. Merci tout de même pour cette expérience.

Thank you all so much for the amazing time we got to spend on the farm with you! It was a real adventure with the most magnificent sceneries in wonderful Limburg. We were met with a lot of warmth and hospitality and got to learn about wine farming and a way of living in close connection to nature. We cherish all the memories and experiences we got to share here :)

Un petit coin de paradis dans le Limbourg, idyllique autant pour les wwoofeurs que les vacanciers. En effet, les chambres sont charmantes, les animaux attachants, la cuisine délicieuse et les vins succulents. Mais ce qui rend le séjour vraiment inoubliable c'est l'accueil chaleureux et la gentillesse de la famille : des échanges préalables avec Marieke, en passant par les enseignements d'Adriaan, aux discussions avec Isabelle, ainsi que toutes les chouettes personnes gravitants autour du domaine que nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer. S'occuper des vignes demande patience, résilience et passion et cela permet d'apprendre à vivre au gré des saisons. Cette expérience nous a tellement plu que nous souhaiterions y retourner pour les vendanges et la randonnée. Et j'ose espérer que mon avis permettra de convaincre d'autres wwoofeurs de découvrir ce lieu convivial ;-)

Il est des endroits que l'on aimerait protéger comme un joli coin à champignons dans une forêt. Les hôtes du Domaine Marsnil vous reçoivent dans des conditions inattendues pour un woofing. Une chambre confortable, une nourriture de qualité, et un accueil attentionné dans une famille où chacun participe à la vie de la ferme et du B&B. je vous remercie pour votre accueil durant ces deux semaines, d'avoir été attentifs à mon égard. Longue vie au Domaine Marsnil, son vignoble, son magnifique restaurant, et son accueil. Merci Isabelle, Adriaan et Frédéric. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Er zijn plekken die je zou willen beschermen, zoals een mooi paddenstoelenplekje in een bos. De gastheren van Domaine Marsnil bieden je onverwachte omstandigheden om te wuiven. Een comfortabele kamer, kwaliteitseten en een warm welkom in een familie waar iedereen deelneemt aan het leven van de boerderij en de B&B. Ik wil u bedanken voor uw ontvangst gedurende deze twee weken en voor uw aandacht voor mijn behoeften. Lang leve Domaine Marsnil, zijn wijngaard, zijn prachtige restaurant en zijn onthaal.
