The 5 ha property is dominated by forest(3.5ha) , grassland(1ha), fish/swimming pond and garden. The main activities are forest management and organically grown vegetables. Some fruit and berry trees deliver at the end of Summer and beginning of Autumn the ingredients to produce marmalades.
Activities in the vegetable garden are starting in 2nd half of March until end of September.
"The Lestacion domain strives for a natural biodiversity of the different biotopes present (forest, meadows, water features & gardens,...).
An ecological building project (timber frame, straw, loam,...) is currently being developed".

Les 5 ha de propriété sont occupés par la forêt (3.5ha), une prairie (1ha), un étang de baignade/à poissons et un jardin. Les principales activités sont la gestion de la forêt et la culture des légumes biologiques. Quelques arbres fruitiers et baies sont récoltés, à la fin de l'été et au début de l'automne pour produire des confitures.
Les activités dans le jardin potager commencent dans la 2ème moitié de mars jusqu'à fin septembre.
"Le domaine de Lestacion vise une biodiversité naturelle des différents biotopes présents (forêt, prairies, plans d'eau et jardins,...).
Un projet de construction écologique (ossature bois, paille, terreau,...) est en cours de développement".

Het terrein van 5ha is voornamelijk bos (3,5ha), maar er is ook weide (1ha), een zwem/visvijver en een tuin. De voornaamste activiteiten zijn bosbeheer en biologische groententeelt. Sommige fruitbomen en bessenstruiken leveren ons vruchten aan het einde van de zomer - begin van de herfst waarmee we konfituur maken.
Activiteiten in de groententuin lopen van half maart tot eind september.
Op het domein Lestacion wordt gestreefd naar een natuurlijke biodiversiteit van de verschillende aanwezige biotopen(bos, weiland, waterpartijen & tuinen,..).
Momenteel wordt een ecologisch bouwproject(houtskelet, stro, leem,..) uitgewerkt".
DUITS
Das Gelände von 5 Hektar ist hauptsächlich Waldfläche (3,5 Hektar), Grasfläche (1 Hektar), Badesee/ Fischteich und Garten. Die Haupttätigkeiten sind Waldwirtschaft und biologischer Gemüseanbau. Manche Obst- und Beerenbäume liefern Ende des Sommers/Anfang des Herbstes die Zutaten für Marmelade. Die Tätigkeit im Gemüsegarten beginnen in der zweiten Märzhälfte bis September.

An amazing stay with amazing hosts!
Emmanuel and Cecile are kind, thoughtful and interesting people.
Definitively a great meeting
I learned lots of precious farming and cooking tips, but otherwise we also enjoyed some discussions about art and life in general.
The work rhythm was nice with diversified activities throughout the days.
Non exhaustively, I had the opportunity to harvest raspberries, plums and tomatoes, cook and preserve for winter with the garden goodies, chop wood, do some weeding,...
As well as some really convivial time all together and biking around with Cécile

What to said about the experience, just great. Generous people, beloved ones sharing and accepting. Authentic wwoof born people, easygoing in a fantastic land where always there is something to do previously a delicious meal.
